Chocolate Nice Cream Recipe
If you can’t leave without ice cream this recipe is for you! It is a healthy and natural, and it is perfect for all of you sweet tooths out there!
My absolutely favorite recipe of nice-cream. I can eat it every day! When I tried it for the first time I could not stop myself: I made it every day for breakfast or had it as a dessert after meals, it is that good! Plus it is very easy and fun to make. You don’t need any special equipment, no ice-cream maker, just your regular blender. And very simple ingredients you probably already have in your fridge.
Why is it called “nice”-cream? Because it is made of all the natural wholesome ingredients. It is vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free and guilt-free! So it will please just about everyone.
2 frozen bananas
2 tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp almond butter
splash of almond milk (or any plant based milk)
Pick the two ripest in a bunch of bananas to make it sweeter, peel and chop them, and put in a ziplock to freeze overnight. The next day (or even in 3-4 hours) place all these ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend together to get creamy, ice-cream like texture. That is the base of nice-cream. You might want to eat this deliciousness just like that, put it in a cup or a cone.
My favourite way is making a nice-cream bowl. So after I make the base I put it in a bowl and sprinkle it with superfoods and berries.
For the top:
Blueberry and strawberry (or any other berries)
Cacao nibs (optional) Coconut flakes (unsweetened)
1 tbsp Chia seeds
It is creamy, chocolatey, sweet and very rich in flavor. It will satisfy your chocolate and ice-cream cravings, but it is so good for you. You just have to try it!
